Using Google Forms is easy, but sometimes creating a form can be a long and boring process: add a question, duplicate, duplicate, duplicate, duplicate… and then keep duplicating it until you get all the fields you need. Imagine if you have to create a lot of questions (or forms).
Fortunately, there is an add-on called GFormIt for Docs that make it quicker. All you have to do is write all the questions in a Google document and use the add-on to auto-generate the form. This is how to do it:
Install the add-on
Visit the add-on url and click on Free:
You have to link it to your Google account:
Write down the questions
Once you have installed the add-on, it’s time to create the document with all the questions needed. Each question goes on a separate line (with a blank line between).
Generate the form
Go to Add-ons –> GFormit for Docs –> Generate form. After some seconds you will get a message confirming the form has been created.
Get all the links
You will also receive an email with all the addresses you need: the form (both the editable and live versions), the response sheet and the form response analytics.
The downside is that it only allows creating paragraph-type questions.
